Ultrasound Handhelds: 1 MHz, 2 MHz, or 3 MHz Probes

Ultrasound handheld probes are used specifically for penetrating topical nutrients and for toning and lifting the skin.
  • 1 MHz penetrates the deepest and can be used for body treatments.
  • 2 MHz and 3 MHz penetrate less deeply into skin tissue and can be used for both facial and body treatments.

Ultrasound waves stimulate collagen and elastin production and also increase blood circulation which helps reoxygenate skin cells.  This all adds up to healthier, fresher, and firmer skin.

* Please be aware that there are companies who market handheld probes that are said to provide 1, 2, and 3 MHz frequencies all in one handheld device.  Unless these are medical-grade devices, this is false advertising.  Most likely, the handheld device is a 1 MHz probe with a low, medium, and high setting and if used on the face, can end up damaging your client's skin. *

1 MHz Ultrasound Probe series

1 MHz Ultrasound Probes are for body treatments.

   Models HS-3006 and HS-3006L
   Specifications:

          Power:                   AC Adapter (24VDC)

          Auto-time setting:   15 minutes

          Resonance:             Continuous

   Models HS-3008 and HS-3008L

   Specifications:

          Power:                   AC Adapter (24VDC)

          Auto-time setting:   15 minutes

          Resonance:            Continuous/Pulse

The only difference between the HS-3006 and HS-3008 models is that the HS-3006 has a smaller probe surface area than the HS-3008 model.

Both HS-3006 and HS-3008 have the options of coming with red LED lights surrounding the probe head.  The LED lights help to stimulate and activate skin cells and also promotes blood circulation.

Our HS-3026 is a 2 MHz ultrasound device that is usually used in dermatologist offices for facial treatments.  It permeates a little deeper than the 3 MHz handheld, but not as deep as the 1 MHz handheld.

The HS-3026 2 MHz ultrasound probe is shaped exactly like the HS-3040.  Bellaire Industry is the only manufacturer and supplier of 2 MHz ultrasound probes.  We have had to take down our previously posted information regarding the power outputs of the devices because other companies copied the information and used it to convince consumers that they also have 2 MHz ultrasound probes.

3 MHz Ultrasounds with LED Lights [Red, Blue, Green, or Amber] (2 MHz ultrasound does not come with LED lights)

LED lights can be shut off so that it can be used combined with ultrasound or separately

example treatments: Ultrasound with LED lights; Ultrasound only; or LED lights only

Models HS-3050R, HS-3050B, and HS-3050G

Specifications:                                                         Red LED lights for anti-aging treatments.

Power:                    AC Adapter (24VDC)            Blue LED lights acne therapy.

Auto-time setting:   10 minutes                          Green LED lights help repair damaged skin cells.

Resonance:            Continuous or Pulse               Amber for facial rejuvenation.

Our Ultrasound Handheld Massagers are available at 3 different frequencies: 1, 2 and 3 megahertz (MHz).  The lower frequencies penetrate deeper, thus 1MHz devices are to be used exclusively on the body, while 2 and 3 MHz devices can be used on the face as well as the body.  All devices also have varying power intensities.  A greater power intensity is generally used when the breakdown of scar tissue is the goal.

Ultrasound waves cannot be transmitted through the air, thus some sort of  liquid medium is needed between the head of the device and the patient/client's skin.  For therapeutic and rehabilitative goals (e.g. increased circulation, tissue healing, relief of muscle spasms and pain) ultrasound gel is a suitable medium.  For esthetic goals, such as face lifting, anti-pigmentation, and product penetration, ultrasound should be used in conjunction with your current products (i.e. serums, creams, etc.) to maximize their effects.

Devices combined with LED and ultrasound technologies for improved results.  A red LED functions in skin firming and enhanced wound healing, a blue LED cools the skin and is anti-bacterial (perfect for treating acne), and a green LED counteracts hyper-pigmentation.
